Press release

Polegate Town Council is shocked and saddened by the news that a domestic incident occurred on Wednesday 22 October between Joseph O'Riordan and his wife, Mrs Amanda O'Riordan. We understand that Amanda remains in a serious condition in hospital.

Amanda is well known throughout the town, especially amongst the numerous voluntary organisations to whom she gives her support. She has also given freely of her time to Council at several civic occasions.

Our thoughts are with Amanda, her family and many friends at this time.
